Why you will love learning how to make blender juice
The juicing process is fun and simple! Requires very little effort and it's quite quick.
It is very affordable and convenient, as you won't need to buy an expensive juicer! Instead, you can use the blender that you already have and a nut milk bag! You will not only save money but also precious space in the kitchen as you won't need an additional kitchen tool.
Easy cleanup, cleaning a blender and nut milk bag is much easier than a juicer, which usually has a lot of different parts.
You will be ready for a juice cleanse at home, without the need to spend a fortune on store-bought juices.

TIP! I like to add a generous amount of veggies to my fruit juices, so they don't have a crazy high sugar content.
How to make fresh fruit juice without a juicer
Preparing blender juice it's very easy. It can get a little messy but... Let's say that's part of the fun!
Start by preparing the ingredients: Cut and peel the fresh produce (fresh fruits & veggies), and remove seeds if possible. Medium chunks are fine since they're going in the blender, but smaller pieces will optimize the space in the blender jar, which is to be considered depending on the size of your blender.
Add ingredients to blender jar & blend: Add all the fresh ingredients and water to a high-speed blender. Only a little bit of water is required, but you can add as much water as you like. The more water you add, the less concentrated the juice will be. You can also add ice cubes to make the juice instantly cold.
Blend at high speed for 2-3 minutes.
NOTE! I highly recommend a high powered blender for this, but if you don't have one, simply blend for a bit longer.
Strain the juice: Place a nut milk bag inside a big glass jar, jug, or bowl, and pour the blended fruit mixture into the nut milk bag as per the photo. The nut bag will allow the juice to flow through while trapping the pulp and solids. You can do this process with a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth if you don't have a milk bag.
Gather the top of the bag, twist it, and close it. Squeeze to extract as much juice as possible. You should get a smooth juice without any pulp or solids. This juice recipe has a slight bitter taste, you can adjust the sweetness if desired.
Discard the pulp: You can repurpose the remaining pulp that ends in the nut milk bag for other recipes (like smoothies or spreads). Alternatively, the leftover pulp is great for composting in the garden.
Transfer to glass jars: Store in the fridge in glass jars and serve very cold!
Equipment
To prepare juice without a juicer you will need:
- Sharp knife and chopping board to prepare the fresh produce.
- High-speed blender: I find countertop blenders work better than immersion blenders. I love using my Optimum G2.6 Slim because it's incredibly powerful! (Use Alicia20 for $20 off). Other blenders like Ninja, Vitamix, or Nutribullet would work great too.
- Nut milk bag, fine mesh strainer, or cheesecloth: to strain the fruit mixture and turn it into juice! I love this milk bag from Honest to Goodness.
Storage
Store the delicious juice in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-5 days. I like to use repurposed glass jars or juice glass bottles for this.
Other juice recipe ideas
With the method I teach you in this blog post, you can get creative and make the type of juice you want. Below, I am giving you a few extra examples:
- Homemade apple juice: Use your favorite type of apples. Sweeter apples work best though.
- Pineapple and lemon juice
- Vegetable juice: I love making vegetable juice with lots of green vegetables like leafy greens, celery, and a bunch of mint for freshness. Check out this recipe I have on Instagram.
- Carrot juice: made with carrots and fresh ginger!

I tried this method with the recipe suggested and it worked great! It can get a tiny bit messy with splashes of juice in the bench but other than that perfect! I will keep experimenting ☺️
