It's made with only 2 ingredients and takes 2 minutes, doesn't get much better than that!
It's a much healthier alternative to the regular caramel. All the sweetness comes from the dates, there's no added sugar.
You can use it as a spread, dip or to drizzle. It's perfect the perfect sweet treat to have with fruit.

Ingredients
There is a secret ingredient that makes this simple vegan date caramel sauce so good. And that ingredient is... coconut cream! Yes, this recipe is made with only dates and coconut cream, that's it amigos! You could also use sticky medjool dates instead if regular dates.
I like to use the thick part of the coconut cream to make this raw vegan caramel quite thick. However, if you prefer a more liquid consistency, you can use milk instead.

Substitutions and variations
- Add a dash of vanilla extract if you like!
- A pinch of flaky sea salt is also a great addition to make salted vegan caramel.
- Use other non-dairy milk - instead of coconut cream, like almond milk or soy milk.
