What you need to make this mango cucumber smoothie
You're about to discover the ingredients list of my favourite summer smoothie. I'm so excited, really!!

- Frozen mango
- Cucumber
- Mint
- Lime juice
- Lime zest
- Coconut water

How to make the best mango cucumber smoothie
I love smoothies because they're super easy to make. Put all the ingredients in a high-speed blender, blend and enjoy!! That's the kind of effort you need for a hot summer day, isn't it?
And let me tell you again... you're going to LOVE IT! I mean, look at the bright green colour of it, isn't it amazing?

Substitutions
While I don't think this recipe allows for many modifications, I have two to share with you:
- Basil - instead of mint. It actually works superb. I usually use one or the other depending on which one I have at home!
- Water - instead of coconut water.
Top tip
If fresh mangoes are accessible where you live, buy ripe ones and freeze them yourself. They will be much tastier!! I always do this when is mango season here in Australia (and eat half the mango before I get to freeze it).

Ingredients
- 1 cup of frozen mango
- 1 medium lebanese cucumber
- 1 handful of mint
- Juice of Β½ lime
- Zest of Β½ lime
- 1 cup of coconut water (see notes)
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender, and blend very well.
- Enjoy very cold in a a glass jar!
Notes
- You can substitute the mint for basil, it works great as well!
- Adjust the amount of coconut water, depending on how liquid or thick you want the smoothie.
