Description

These fall-off-the-bone BBQ pork ribs recipe is all you need! They’re so finger-licking good and ridiculously tender. Made with a homemade BBQ sauce, they’re healthy and super easy to make. Gluten-free & dairy-free.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1,6kg pork ribs (400gr per person)
  • 1/2 tbsp ground pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
  • 1 cup homemade no-ketchup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven on top and bottom baking mode at 120 degree Celsius.
  2. Lay an oven tray with baking paper and place the ribs on top. Rub all the spices and EVOO on both sides.
  3. Cover with foil and put in the oven for 6 hours.
  4. Take the tray out of the oven and remove the foil. At this point they should already be cooked falling off-the-bone.
  5. Add a generous amount of BBQ sauce with a brush on both sides. Put back in the oven and cook at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
  6. Enjoy!

Notes

The cooking time might depend on the size of the ribs. Check after 4 hours to see how they’re going.

You can also cook the ribs in the slow cooker. Cook on low for 6 hours and then transfer to the oven with the BBQ sauce as per the instructions.
