Description
This simple cheesy turmeric quinoa makes the perfect side dish, or base for salads and stir fries. Made with only 4 ingredients and ready in 12 minutes!
Ingredients

1 cup of white quinoa
1/8 teaspoon of ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon of stock powder or 1/2 cube (low in salt)
2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast
Instructions
- Bring 2 cups of water to boil. Once it’s boiling add the stock powder or cube, turmeric and quinoa. Reduce the heat to medium and cover for 10 minutes or as per package instructions.
- Once most of the water has been absorbed, add the nutritional yeast and stir to combine. Cover for another minute and ready!
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
- Add crushed pepper on top before serving to boost the turmeric absorption
