Description

This almond satay sauce is made with almond butter instead of peanuts. It has all the goodness of the traditional sauce, and it’s suitable for those with peanuts allergies, intolerance or simply trying to avoid them.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1,5 tbsp lime
  • 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp tamari
  • 2,5 tbsp coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Pour all the ingredients in a lidded glass jar
  2. Stir to combine, until the consistency is very smooth
  3. Enjoy!

Notes

  • If you’re living in a cold climate place substitute the coconut oil for sesame oil. Otherwise the sauce will be a bit solid
  • Add more coconut milk and water if you want the sauce more runny
